La propuesta del "Willanakuy: Estrategia para la Preservación del Quechua a través de los Cuentos Andinos” busca preservar el quechua en entornos urbanos, donde su uso ha disminuido debido a la diglosia y políticas de castellanización. Esta estrategia promueve la oralidad del quechua mediante cuentos andinos, con el objetivo de fortalecer la identidad cultural y fomentar una ciudadanía intercultural. El declive del quechua entre las nuevas generaciones es evidente, reflejando la necesidad urgente de acciones para su revitalización. Este documento analiza la situación actual del quechua en el Perú, su importancia histórica y los desafíos que enfrenta en la sociedad contemporánea. This strategy promotes the oral tradition of Quechua through Andean tales, with the aim of strengthening cultural identity and fostering intercultural citizenship. The decline of Quechua among new generations is evident, reflecting the urgent need for actions to revitalize it. This document analyzes the current situation of Quechua in Peru, its historical importance during the Inca era, and the challenges it faces in contemporary society. The research highlights the urgency of promoting pedagogical practices that value and respect linguistic diversity, recognizing Quechua as an invaluable heritage that deserves to be preserved.
