Los Saberes de Crianza de la Siembra del Maíz Como Estrategia Educativa EIB Para Fortalecer la Identidad Cultural

Abstract

Resumen Uno de los objetivos de la Educación Intercultural Bilingüe (EIB) es incorporar los saberes culturales en las escuelas. Desde esta mirada, introducir la siembra del maíz en la enseñanza de los niños de primaria para fortalecer y afirmar su identidad es un objetivo fundamental e importante. Este trabajo de investigación presenta la práctica de la crianza del maíz, con énfasis en las señas y los secretos, para fortalecer la identidad cultural en niñas(os) de comunidades andinas. Por medio de la exploraciones de documentos académicos relacionados con el tema y un análisis de la información sobre las prácticas sobre la siembra de este cultivo, se busca identificar cómo es posible impulsar la pertenencia a la cultura quechua. Esta investigación contribuye a la importancia del conocimiento del trabajo agrícola ancestral, en especial la producción del maíz, en la preservación cultural de nuestras comunidades en escuelas de modalidad EIB.

Abstract One of the objectives of Intercultural Bilingual Education (IBE) is to incorporate cultural knowledge into schools. From this perspective, introducing corn cultivation into the teaching of primary school children, in order to strengthen and affirm their identity, is a fundamental and important goal. This research presents the practice of corn cultivation, with emphasis on traditional signs and secrets, as a way to reinforce cultural identity in children from Andean communities. Through the review of academic documents related to the topic and the analysis of information about farming practices of this crop, the study seeks to identify how it is possible to promote a sense of belonging to the Quechua culture. This research contributes to highlighting the importance of ancestral agricultural knowledge especially corn production in preserving the cultural heritage of our communities within IBE schools.
